HYLEV offers a full Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) system design service. Combining our design expertise with our experience in technical consultancy, we can assist Principal and Department Head Teachers, Construction Companies and Local Authorities in planning the layout and equipment content of their Craft, Design and Technology Departments.

We provide local exhaust ventilation for full education workshop design and layout in accordance with:

  • CLEAPSS G255 Local Exhaust Ventilation in D&T

  • G014 Designing and Planning Laboratories

  • BS4163:2014 Health and safety for design and technology in educational and similar establishments

 

What does our design process involve?

Following your initial enquiry, one of our experienced team will carry out a site visit and provide you with advice including a range of options available to meet your needs and budget.

Our in-house design team will provide an AutoCAD design for your approval before the installation commences. Post installation, HYLEV engineers will commission the system in accordance with HSG258 ‘Controlling Airborne Contaminants at Work – A Guide to Local Exhaust Ventilation’ and BOHS P604 and provide commissioning data, a user manual and log book.
